Xmas Game Fest: A Web3 Winter Wonderland

As the Christmas season approaches, the crypto community is buzzing with excitement for the upcoming Xmas Game Fest, a crypto gaming event set to elevate the festive spirit. This festival, resulting from a collaboration between AtomicHub, Wombat, and Intraverse, promises to be a game-changer in the world of Web3 and NFT gaming.

Intraverse, the cornerstone of this partnership, is a cross-community, cross-chain, and cross-platform ecosystem that transforms your favorite NFTs into playable 3D avatars. By avatarizing the PFPs of over 30 NFT projects, Intraverse is spearheading the NFT World Cup, a thrilling street fighter tournament combined with diverse social quests, fostering unprecedented engagement in the Web3 space.

The previous Summer Edition of this tournament showcased the immense potential of such events, with over 4,000 players representing their favorite NFT projects, engaging in more than 420,000 game sessions and generating over 22,000 tweets. This remarkable participation underscored the growing interest and involvement in NFT-based gaming experiences.

The Xmas Game Fest is officially supported by WAX and it´s an exclusive event tailored for WAX NFTs. As such it will gather some of the most popular WAX NFT projects, namely: Brawlers, Taco, Avalon, Colonize Mars, FGL, Novopangea, NFT Draft and many others. The Fest is scheduled to run from December 11th to December 22nd in the Intraverse Gaming Arena. It will showcase 1v1 battles spanning three difficulty levels, accessible through online platforms and regular interfaces on Windows, MacOS, and Android. 

Players will not only have fun fighting against each other but they’ll also contribute to their project’s total score, adding another layer of excitement; also, the Social Score System will enable participants to earn extra points through social quests and quizzes, deepening their engagement with the NFT communities and the broader ecosystem.

The event will unfold in various rounds, with collaborations involving well-known gaming platforms, offering additional opportunities for players to accumulate points. Strategic breaks will allow communities to regroup, strategize, and bolster their chances for the subsequent rounds.

The prize pool for Xmas Game Fest is nothing short of spectacular, with over $10,000 in tokens and NFTs. The total prize amount will grow with the number of participating projects, ensuring a rewarding experience for top players.

For Those Looking To Amplify Their Scores

Intraverse introduces the XMas Game Pass Season N.01 publicly dropping on December 8th on AtomicHub’s Launchpad, these passes will serve as score multipliers and offer staking utility in Dungeon Master after the festival ends. Keep an eye out for updates, as there might be chances to snag a Pass for free!

The XMas Game Pass will have a total supply of 1100 NFTs with four different rarities corresponding to a lower or higher multiplier in-game and your pass will reveal only after your mint, so your rarity is based on total randomness:

Nebula → 2X multiplier; Rarity: 63%; Supply: 700

Red Giants → 3X multiplier; Rarity: 27%; Supply: 300

Super Nova → 4X multiplier; Rarity: 9%; Supply: 90

Black Hole → 5X multiplier; Rarity: 1%; Supply: 10

The passes will be exclusively dropped on the WAX chain via AtomicHub’s Launchpad through different mint phases accessible with different requirements:
