Participants can amplify their engagement by connecting their Twitter accounts, thereby earning points through interactions with Upland and Sparklet content. These points will subsequently be converted into Sparklet tokens, enriching the in-game experience for users.
This Twitter-focused airdrop campaign draws inspiration from similar strategies employed in the promotion of the Portal and BlockGames tokens, emphasizing the power of social media in fostering community engagement and token distribution.
In a significant development last November, Upland, which is built on the EOS blockchain, announced plans to introduce an Ethereum token tied to its in-game Sparklet token. This announcement followed the release of a whitepaper detailing Upland’s vision, which was overwhelmingly supported by the community, with 87% voting in favour of the proposal.
Following the airdrop, Upland will initiate a Token Tradability Event (TTE), enabling players to convert their in-game Sparklet currency into a tradeable Ethereum token. This move marks a pivotal moment in Upland’s journey, bridging the gap between in-game utility and real-world value.

Moreover, each chapter of the airdrop series rewards participants with a unique Block Explorer NFT, a critical game piece within the Upland metaverse. Accumulating five such rewards unlocks an exclusive NFT, adding another layer of excitement and incentive for participants.
