Telegram-based game Notcoin, in collaboration with Helika, an AI-powered analytics firm, has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative to nurture the next generation of Telegram games. Announced on Wednesday, the Telegram Gaming Accelerator aims to transform Notcoin from a viral sensation into a foundational component of the burgeoning ecosystem of crypto-backed mini apps.

Anton Umnov, Helika co-founder and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting the immense potential for game studios to tap into global user acquisition and deepen user engagement through the platform. The accelerator will focus on developing mini apps that operate within Telegram and leverage The Open Network, Telegram’s preferred blockchain network.

This initiative comes as Telegram games like Notcoin demonstrate a compelling model: captivating Telegram’s vast user base with simple gameplay mechanics and rewarding players with real crypto token airdrops.

Notcoin’s strategy proved immensely successful, with its NOT token reaching a $2 billion market cap shortly after its launch. Though it has since adjusted to a $1.3 billion market cap, the model’s influence has sparked a wave of similar projects.
